This Lecture Series was conceived in honor of the founding Chairman of AIUB Dr. Anwarul Abedin, in recognition of the pioneering efforts and benevolence of a man who envisioned to establish a university that would cater to the students' quest for world class education, and to contribute to the improvement of the quality and excellence of education in this country. A number of prominent and distinguished professionals and executives from both private and public sectors, and international organizations who have exemplified themselves in their chosen careers have been featured in this Lecture Series.
Objectives:
- To emulate the legacy of the founding chairman of the university
- To assemble distinguished personalities in the field of business, engineering, information technology, arts and culture
- To present insights, ideas, plans, reports and scholarly written papers highlighting the contributions of these personalities in their respective fields
- To keep the students, faculty and officials of the university abreast of the new dimensions, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), challenges and issues emerging in the concerned disciplines and sectors
- To publish a compilation of the papers presented in the lecture series
