The Biotechnology Laboratory focuses on applied microbial, food, and natural-product biotechnology, as well as bioprocess development. It is equipped with analytical instruments, including analytical balances, incubators, autoclaves, hot-air ovens, homogenizers, pH meters, and UV-Vis spectrophotometers, to facilitate precise experimental work and sustainable bioprospecting.

Active project integration includes:

• Mango Seed-Kernel Bioprospecting: Sample processing, bioactive compound extraction, phytochemical screening, and antioxidant testing.
• Bombay Duck Functional Bar Development: Protein concentrate isolation, product formulation, nutritional and physicochemical profiling, and shelf-life monitoring.
• Cross-Project Support: Biomass preparation and metabolite/enzyme screening for the mangrove endophytic fungus initiative, as well as sample preparation for the β-glucogallin study.
