alleviation. The AIUB Business Incubation Center (BIC), under the Dr. Anwarul Abedin Institute of Innovation,
provides critical financial and structural support to local entrepreneurs, helping them launch financially and

students and community members to develop projects into viable businesses. The center offers expert mentorship,

AAIUB Workshop Empowers Students to Boost Local MSME Growth and Tackle Poverty
AIUB hosted a two-day workshop titled “Prospects of Local Products for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises in
Bangladesh” on December 3-4, 2023, aimed at empowering students with insights into local MSME opportunities and
challenges in Bangladesh. Organized by AIUB’s MIS and Management & HRM departments with support from the E-Commerce
Development Centre, the workshop covered topics such as e-commerce, agriculture, textiles, and food industries.
Students engaged with successful entrepreneurs and gained valuable knowledge on sustainable business practices,
aligning with SDG1's mission to reduce poverty through inclusive economic growth.
