Moreover, policy decisions influence the socio-economic development of a nation along with other societal issues. This exclusion is largely due to socio-cultural stigmas, insufficient legal frameworks and the lack of awareness about disability rights among local authorities. In this backdrop the study is attempted to see how far inclusion of PWD’s is being implemented in the domain of local government.
