Young Asians Programme 2026
Applications for the Young Asians Fellowship are open! If you are between the ages of 16 and 20 years old and are interested in making an impact either through the Arts and Humanities, Service Learning or STEM pathways, join Young Asians to gain exclusive access to established trailblazers from different fields, curated resources, 1-1 mentorship with driven youth changemakers and a network of bright youth across Asia.
What is the Young Asians Programme?
The Young Asians Fellowship is a unique accelerator (May-June 2026) which culminates in a physical summit held in Singapore, the Young Asians Summit, on the 23rd to 25th of June 2026.
For the 2026 programme, a cohort of 150 Fellows will be selected from across Southeast Asia. The YA is a school built for the 21st century that goes beyond traditional academics. It helps participants develop critical skills like public speaking, open collaboration, negotiation and creative thinking through:
-
4 weeks of virtual workshops in May 2026 led by experts and trailblazing Asians. 1-1 mentorship by the Young Asians 100, a group of local mentors including Princeton and Harvard undergrads, tech startup founders, community service leaders and published writers. Check some of the YA100 out in the attached Prospectus or the website.
-
3 tracks to choose from: STEM, Arts and Humanities, or Service Learning. Youths get to choose from these three tracks and work on an impact project where they get to decide what they want to work on. Complete freedom of choice. Of course, the YA Staff and Mentors will be there every step of the way to help guide you in your impact journey.
-
Young Asians Summit: All fellows will be invited to the Summit (23 - 25 June 2026), a free 3 day summit where you get to network with your cohort, learn from established leaders in industry and government, pitch to judges, access exclusive tours to research institutes, companies and agencies, and engage in cultural immersion activities in Singapore.
The programme is sponsored by the globally recognised Emergent Ventures Fund and was awarded the Young Changemakers Grant 2025. As such, the Accelerator and Summit are fully funded for all Fellows, meaning there is no cost to you if you become a Young Asians Fellow.
