The 24 ^th Convocation—Schedule of Ceremony Attendance Fees, Attendance Confirmation Form, Photograph, and Gown

The graduating students of the 24 ^th Convocation are requested to follow the schedules and dates as stated below:

1. Convocation Ceremony Attendance Fees and Attendance Confirmation Form: Every graduating student who wishes to attend the 24th Convocation Ceremony must pay the convocation attendance fee (BDT 3,400) and complete the online attendance form. Students can pay the fee through their VUES portal account using either online payment or bank payment. For online payments, students can proceed to fill out the form once the payment is successfully processed and reflected in the system. For bank payments, students must allow 1–2 working day(s) for the payment to be adjusted in the university’s system before filling out the form. The Convocation Ceremony Attendance Form will be available on the AIUB Portal under Online Applications from Thursday, October 29, 2026, up to Saturday, November 7, 2026.

Please note that the Chancellor of AIUB, the Honorable President of the country, Mr. Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, has given his kind consent to be present at the ceremony, which will require strict adherence to rules and guidelines as set by law enforcement authorities. Invitation cards will be issued only if all required information—such as name, permanent and present addresses, contact number, and NID/Birth Registration/Passport numbers (along with a scanned copy)—is accurately submitted in the convocation ceremony attendance form via the portal. Moreover, there will be strict rules for entry to the venue, details of which will be provided later. Failure to comply with these rules will lead to denial of entry.

If the attendance form is not completed, the invitation card for the student (and his/her guests) will not be issued, and consequently, the student will not be able to take part in the convocation ceremony. After submitting the online form, print the confirmation slip and preserve it. This printed slip will be required at the time of card collection. The collection date will be announced later. The last date for submitting the form is Saturday, November 7, 2026. If you have forgotten your VUES ID and password or are experiencing any other login problems, please contact VUES (www.aiub.edu/contact-us).

**Important Note: This is not a convocation/graduation application form. This is the convocation CEREMONY ATTENDANCE form. Those who are already cleared and listed for the 24 ^th Convocation can only submit this form. This will only ensure your and your guest’s ceremony attendance invitation card. If you fail to fill in this form on time, your and your guest’s invitation cards will not be printed.

2. Photograph: 24th Convocation Photographs can be taken on 31 Oct – 7 Nov 2026 (12–7 PM, Friday 3–7 PM) in the AIUB Campus. After this date, no more photographs will be taken for the 24 ^th Convocation. Each student will have to pay Tk. 250.00 for the photograph. Students are advised to be in formal attire at the time of the photo shoot because this photo will be officially used in convocation documentation. Make sure you collect the money receipt and sign against your name in the list. An 8R-sized printed photograph will be provided on a later date. Verification of Photographs:

Prior to souvenir printing, all the photographs will be posted on the website for final checking. Please check your photo online and notify us if there is any mistake. No claims will be entertained afterwards if mistakes are not notified by the students on due time (TBA).

3. Convocation Gown:

Gown Measurement: During Convocation Photographs, the tailor will be present to take custom measurements of the Convocation gown from 29 Oct – 2 Nov 2026.

The payment for the gown is Tk. 1,300.00 (an additional Tk. 200 for master’s programs). Payment should be made to the tailor directly, not to the office. If you miss the on-campus date, you may contact the tailor directly. If you want to take part in the convocation, you must wear the proper gown.

Gown Distribution: Gowns will be distributed as per the following schedule:
