Thesis Day Notice for All BSCS Thesis Groups of Spring 2024-2025

Dear BSCS Thesis Students of the Faculty of Science and Technology,

Please be informed that Thesis Day for Spring 2024-2025 is tentatively scheduled for:

• Date: Thursday, October 16, 2025
• Time: 11:00 AM to 04:00 PM

        Sessions:

• Defense Presentation Session
• Poster Presentation Session

        Defense Presentation Session:

• Time: 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM
• Venue: TBA (department will notify the Supervisors regarding group wise room no)
• Each group: 12 minutes to present
• Followed by 8 minutes Q&A  

        Poster Presentation Session:

• Time: 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM
• Venue: TBA (department will notify the Supervisors regarding the venue)
• Each group needs to prepare a poster with a dimension of 30 X 48 inch.

Important:

• All thesis groups must attend and present their thesis on the Thesis Day sessions as per the time schedule [specific group wise time slot will be notified to the supervisors later].
• Students need to prepare a professional PowerPoint presentation and a poster with the specific dimensions mentioned above. Poster template has been provided to the supervisors.
• An HDMI-enabled laptop is required for the defense presentation session. The device should include the power point slide as well as all the relevant/supporting resources/materials of their thesis works.
• Communicate with your supervisor for further updates (e.g., time slots and room numbers, presentation slide preparation guidelines, poster presentation venue, poster template etc.).
