With the aim of equipping students with essential insights into career planning and professional development, the Department of Management & HRM and the Department of MIS at the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) organized a program in collaboration with the University’s Office of Placement and Alumni (OPA).

The program entitled "Career Planning and Professional Development," took place on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Media Studio, Annex 2.

The keynote speaker for the event was the University’s alumna Ms. Fatema Moriam Nisha, the Head of People, Culture & Diversity at SMEC. Ms. Nisha brought to the event a wealth of professional experience and expertise. The audience participated enthusiastically, asking the speaker a wide range of questions.

The seminar provided an invaluable platform for HRM and MIS students to gain critical insights into the world of career planning and professional development. Ms. Nisha, drawing from her experiences and accomplishments, emphasized the importance of setting clear career goals and the strategies to achieve them. She provided guidance on how students can navigate the complex world of job markets, build a successful career in a decent workplace, and stay competitive in today's dynamic professional landscape.

Esteemed faculty members of the department of Management & HRM and Department of MIS were in attendance. The seminar was concluded by handing over the guests with certificate & gift packs by Dr. Rezbin Nahar, Director of BBA Program, Mr. R.
