This is to remind all registered AIUB students that, as per the instructions received from the Ministry of Education, students are required to submit his/her National Identification (NID) Card Number in their VUES portal as soon as possible.

The updated lists of AIUB students who have already submitted their valid NIDs on VUES, have been forwarded to the designated government authority on a regular basis (once every week).

Recently, it has been observed that some of the students who have submitted their valid NID earlier in the VUES portal are able to register for COVID vaccine through the https://surokkha.gov.bd/ website under the ‘student in the residential halls of the university’ category.

As per the government authority, NID is a mandatory requirement for the vaccine registration. Hence, students who have not updated their NID information in VUES yet, are requested to do so as soon as possible.

Students who do not have NIDs are requested to start the application process for acquiring their respective NIDs at the earliest, in order to be considered eligible for the student vaccination registration provision made by the Ministry of Education. Students who have submitted their valid NID at least 1 week prior through the VUES portal but are facing problems in registering for the vaccination on the government website, https://surokkha.gov.bd/, may state their registration problems in the following form. We will try to check for any discrepancy and resolve the issues accordingly.
