Nov. 22-24	Submission/photocopying/arranging of Final term exam manuscripts, 2 sets (A/B) to concerned Faculty/Department
Nov. 25	Submission of original manuscripts to VC’s office
Nov. 24-30	Laboratory Final term exams (check permits, regular classes)
Dec. 1-6	Final term exams
Dec. 7-12	Eid vacation for officers and staffs
Dec. 7-18**	Eid vacation for teachers
Dec. 13	Resumption of office. Admission and information officers will report on official time (9am-5pm). Other offices will have a skeleton force, reporting by batch. The HR will release the schedule.
Dec. 15	Submission of grades (online). Hard copies must be submitted to the concerned offices upon resumption of office.
Dec. 16	Victory Day
Dec. 20**	Teachers report back to work
Dec. 25	Christmas Day
Dec. 27	Admission exams
Jan. 1 2009	New Year’s Day
Jan. 3	Confirmation of registration for Spring semester
Jan. 10	Spring semester commences

Note:

(**) If election is held on Dec. 18, 2008.

The SPRING 2008-2009 will be from January 10, 2009 to April 30, 2009.

The Faculty Deans must ensure that there will be teachers assigned for the admission exams invigilation, interview/viva for incoming students and advising for old students. Vacation leaves from Dec. 27, 2008 to Jan. 8, 2009 must be discouraged.
