GUIDELINE FROM DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH, AIUB AND HELPLINE’

General Advice:

  1. Stay at home, remain indoors, and keep yourself separated from others.
  2. If you are feeling unwell, wear a mask to prevent any transmission.
  3. Avoid touching your face (eyes, nose, mouth, etc.) without washing your hands.
  4. Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  5. Wash your hands anytime you touch any surface that has not been disinfected (papers, doors, rails, etc.).
  6. Gargle with a solution/mixture of lukewarm water, lemon juice, and salt every day to minimize the risk of infections.
  7. Take supplements of Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, and Zinc to boost your immunity. You may also intake garlic, ginger, nigella or other herbs, to improve your overall health condition.
  8. If you have been outside, make sure you change your clothes upon entering your home. Wash clothes regularly, with fabric-friendly disinfectant to keep them fresh and decontaminated.
  9. Avoid crowded spaces, such as marketplaces, elevators, public transportation as much as possible. Maintain a safe distance (1 meter or 3 feet) from others at all times. Use sanitizers (or even gloves) as a precautionary measure from getting infected.
  10. And most importantly, do not panic yourself or others.
