Team "AI and DL Advanced Security" from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) was awarded Intel^® presents Intel^® AI Global Impact Festival 2023- Country/Region/Territory Recognition for AI Projects. The event was live from September 13 – 20, 2023, and after competing in five rigorous examination stages, 126 AI projects and best practices of researchers competed at the global level. "AI and DL Advanced Security" not only received well-deserved recognition for their home country, Bangladesh, but they also showcased their project entitled “AI and DL Advanced Security system using multiple cameras” on the global stage, exemplifying the country's AI potential. Team "AI and DL Advanced Security" was led by Abdulla Mahamud Shejan (Student, Dept. of EEE, AIUB) and members are Md. Mehedi Hasan Monna (Student, Dept. of EEE, AIUB), and Imtiaz Uddin (Student, Dept. of EEE, AIUB). Sarah Kemp (Vice President, International Government Affairs, Intel) announced the certificates and prizes to the winners and team members received USD 500 and intel certificates.
