BUSINESS WEEK 2016 CELEBRATION
The Faculty of Business Administration, American International University-Bangladesh has designed a program to celebrate Business Week in 3 days , August 9-11, 2016, highlighting various events and activities that will showcase the talents of the students and other stakeholders of the business administration programs. It was the intention of the event to enhance students’ creativity, loyalty and commitment to the program, the university and specifically to their studies and future career. Under the guiding hand of their faculty, management and officers of the university, the celebration is destined to be a success. The alumni are invited to build a rapport with the FBA students to learn from them the success stories of their career after leaving the portals of their alma mater. Students from other schools and colleges have been invited also to share their talents through quiz competition, debate, business plan competition, and at the same time learn new knowledge and skills from the workshops and seminars to be conducted by renowned executives, professionals and practitioners in various fields of discipline. The parents who are partners of the university are likewise invited to see for themselves documents, learning materials and other valuable information to enlighten them of the various process of nurturing and honing the students to ensure the success of their chosen career during the Open House. The Faculty of Business has received a number of awards and granted accreditation by foreign accreditation agency as a symbol of quality and excellence in its BBA and MBA/EMBA programs. Various tools and instruments are being utilized so that the value of quality are manifested and enshrined in every dimension. These are added values to the students when they seek for employment. Getting employed nowadays is a challenge to our young graduates in view of the diverse and rigid requirements of both the local and global markets. The business students are not only equipped with cognitive knowledge and relevant skills but most all the desirable attitudes, work ethics, moral values and willingness to learn, work and contribute to the development of the organization. Having all these in a graduate would make him ready to face the challenge of the world of work. The 3-day Business Week 2016 celebration will usher new experience for all those who are joining the various events, meeting with friends and learning new knowledge and skills on a more sustainable business environment.
