AIUB Vice Chancellor Joined Education Forum for Asia 2007

The AIUB VC, DR. CARMEN Z. LAMAGNA, joined the Education Forum for Asia 2007 held last Nov. 7-9, 2007 in Xian, China as part of the Euro Asia Economic Forum. Dubbed as the "Consultative Meeting on Euro Asia Education Cooperation", supported by the Ministry of Education of China, co-hosted by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and Education Forum for Asia. The meeting included sessions on the establishment of the Euro Asia Cooperation and consultative mechanism, initiation of the education fund, role of language training in international education exchanges and launching of economic study courses among universities of the Asia-Pacific countries. The host city of Xian, home of the world famous Terracotta Warriors, is the capital of Shaanxi province and is known as one of the "Four Great Ancient Capitals of China".
