A mooting team of the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) has secured the 7th position in the 4th Professor Dr. Khabir Uddin Ahmed National Moot Court Competition, organized by the Society for Critical Legal Studies (SCLS).

The team successfully advanced to the Quarter-Final Round and achieved 9th position in the Memorial Ranking among 50 participating teams from different public and private universities across the country. Additionally, Yousuf Haque Sami secured the 8th position among the Oralists for his outstanding advocacy skills and legal reasoning throughout the competition. The team consisted of Yousuf Haque Sami and Faiaz Azgar as Oralists, and Md. Hosain Diganto as Researcher. The team was coached by Md. Muhtasim Faiaz, Lecturer, Department of Law, AIUB. The team also received guidance and support from Rafi Ahmed, Lecturer, Department of Law, AIUB. Furthermore, Md. Jahedul Islam, Lecturer, Department of Law, AIUB, participated in the competition as an Adjudicator of the competition.

This achievement reflects Department of Law, AIUB’s continued commitment to excellence in legal education, advocacy, and mooting. The mooting team was selected, organized and mentored by Dr. Robayet Ferdous Syed, Head, Department of Law, AIUB.
