“Agreement between Dr. Anwarul Abedin Institute of Innovation (D2A2I) and Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited (BSCL) signed”

A momentous agreement signing ceremony was recently inked between Dr. Anwarul Abedin Institute of Innovation (D2A2I), American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) and the Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited (BSCL). The objective of this distinguished gathering was the formal establishment of a collaborative partnership to usher in the development and operation of a Television Rating Points (TRP) Measurement System. This endeavor represents a significant leap forward in the refinement of TRP calculation methodologies for television channels operating within Bangladesh, promising a transformative era within the media industry. The monumental importance of this initiative lies in the provision of invaluable insights and data, crucial to both advertising agencies and television channels. The formalized accord was officially realized through the affixation of signatures by Dr. Shahjahan Mahmood, Chairman & CEO of BSCL, and Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman, Pro Vice-Chancellor of AIUB and Director of D2A2I.

The gathering was also graced by the esteemed Mr. Chowdhury Akram Hossain, Deputy Director of D2A2I; Dr. M. Tanseer Ali, Associate Professor in the Faculty of Engineering at AIUB; Mr. Abir Ahmed, Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Engineering at AIUB; Mr. Tanvir Ahmed, Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at AIUB; Mr. Sabbir Hossain, the Software Developer designated for the TRP Project; and Mr. Md. Sarwar e Alam Sarker, also a Software Developer devoted to the TRP Project. On behalf of BSCL, the distinguished gathering featured Mr. Md. Rafiqul Haque, Company Secretary; Mr. Shah Ahmedul Kabir, General Manager (Sales and Marketing); Mr. Bakhtiar Ahmed, Assistant General Manager, Planning and Development; Mr. S. M. Anwarul Aziz, Senior Manager, Customer Service; Mr. Md. Shafiul Azam, Manager of Broadcast, Media, and Promotion; Mr. Md. Muntasirur Rahman,  Manager, Mission Engineer; Ms. Rehenuma Tarannum, the Manager, Procurement (Additional Charge); and Mr. Md. Arafin Mahamud, Assistant Manager, Ground Station Maintenance, among others, who graced the ceremony.

The signing of this formal agreement is a tangible testament to the unwavering commitment of both entities to usher in a new era of innovation, thereby fostering opportunities for mutual growth and progress.
