“2nd FBA Research Colloquium, Summer 2022-2023”

To foster progressive research and cultivate an intellectual environment, FBA Research Cell organized “2nd FBA Research Colloquium, Summer 2022-2023” on August 14, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the open space between Annex 2 and 3 on Level 2. With the theme "Exploring Potential Routes to Sustainable Innovation through Business Research.", the event underscored the importance of joint research on multiple disciplines of business, in addressing the intricate global concerns and generating innovative answers for a swiftly evolving society. The objective of this colloquium is harmoniously aligned with the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of ensuring quality education.

For the colloquium, students, under the guidance of faculty supervisors, prepared and exhibited their research work through digital poster presentations, on diverse disciplines like Marketing, Human Resource Management, Management Information Systems, Social Science, and others. Prof. Dr. Md. Jashim Uddin, Head, Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science and Technology, and Prof. Dr. Md. Faruque Hossain from Department of Operations and Supply Chain Management, FBA, provided their invaluable opinions and also future directions on the research works, which motivated the young researchers to carry on making significant contributions to their particular academic disciplines. Prof. Dr. Md. Jashim Uddin emphasized that the success of this showcase event is a testament to the FBA's dedication to promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and research in the business arena.

Dr. Khondaker Sazzadul Karim, Dr. Aftab Anwar, Dr. Khaled Amin, Dr. Mohammad Sirajul Islam from FBA, offered their invaluable and prudent judgement to finalize the winners for the event. The research projects, “The impact of packaging design on consumer perception and purchase behavior”, “Determinates of Disruptive Digital Technologies: A Systematic Literature Review on TOE Framework” and “Predicting Adoption Intention of Artificial Intelligence- A Study on ChatGPT”, and the business project “Eco Power Plastic”, aced the event with their innovative research work.

A humble prize giving ceremony was arranged on the same day to disseminate participation certificates and crests to the winners. All Heads, Research Supervisors and Faculty members of FBA graced the event with their presences. Dr. Rezbin Nahar, Associate Professor, & Director, BBA Program, FBA, ended the session with a vote of thanks to the participants, organizers, and resource persons. FBA humbly appreciates the openhanded support extended by the AIUB management.
