On 30 April 2026, Thursday, poets and academicians came together for a vibrant workshop titled “Translation Tool Kit”, hosted by the Department of English, American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) in collaboration with Atopor Shabdayan, the Bangladeshi partner of Germany-based international poetry platform Lyrikline. Atopor Shobdayon is working to introduce Bangladeshi poets and their selected works to global audiences.

More than 30 enthusiastic students joined the sessions, diving into the art of poetry translation, the global journey of Bangla verse, and the role of new-generation translators in connecting cultures.
The workshop blended theory with practice, featuring hands-on training in contemporary translation tools and techniques.
