MicrosoftExcel is a computer spreadsheet program widely used by everyday people. It isan important part of daily corporate life to perform the basic activities. Tofamiliarize our students with basic excel activities, the Operations ManagementClub, under the supervision of Mr. Zobair Shibli and Mr. Ashfaque A. Mohib,organized a Workshop on “Skills Development Program - MS Excel.” The day longexclusive workshop was held on April 12, 2012 in the language lab of campus 5. 

The workshopwas designed to enable the participants’ gain deeper understanding about theapplication of Microsoft Excel Software in solving some critical problems inOperations Management activities. The workshop covered the topics on Introductionto MS Excel, Inventory, Forecasting, ABC Classification, Economic OrderQuantity, Simulation with Random Number, etc. 

The workshopwas conducted by a group of faculties of Operations Management department,namely - Mr. Ashfaque A. Mohib, Mr. Md. Hasan Maksud Chowdhury, Mr. MohammadAli and Mr. Sultanul Nahian Hasnat. Honorable Dean of Faculty of BusinessAdministration Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva delivered the concluding speechwith his inspiring words and handed over the certificates on April 28, 2012.
