A six-day long exclusive workshop on News Presentation and Anchoring has been conducted by the Department of Media and Mass Communication of American International Universit-Bangladesh. Renowned media professionals working in television stations delivered lectures on different sessions of the workshop. 45 students from different departments of the university participated in the six-day long program. Students got the opportunity to take part in hands-on practical sessions using modern broadcast facilities of the media studio. The closing ceremony of the program was held on February 16, 2017. Pro-VC Prof Dr Charles C Villanueva, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Dr. Tazul Islam, Advisor of MMC Department Prof. Dr. AJM Shafiul Alam Bhuiyan and CEO of Ekushey Television Manzurul Ahsan Bulbul were present in the event . They congratulated the participants for successfully completing the workshop and declared to organize this kind of course on a regular basis from now on.
