AIUB Society for HR had organized a workshop on “Job Interview for Beginners” on December 5, 2011 in Campus 1. The guest speaker was Mr. Ahmad Abu Insaf (Executive Director, MGH Restaurants Pvt. Ltd.) The program was arranged to prepare the graduating students to become familiar with the questions which are usually asked in an interview board. The main purpose of the workshop was to boost the confidence of the students and to equip them with the skills and attitude to interact in an interview successfully. During the program, Mr. Insaf delivered a presentation on “First Job Interview” where he introduced the students with a detailed description of interview systems and policies. Besides, he discussed about some tips and tricks of job interviews and explained how attitude, perfect preparation, idea about the company can magically help a person to get a job.  The discussion was followed by a very effective and participative Q&A session. At the end, all the students who attended the workshop received a certificate of participation from the honorable guest. After that, MBA Program Director Mr. Nisar Ahmed and Ms. Hafsa Maryam, Faculty Member of HR Department, Faculty of Business Administration, cordially thanked the guest for attending the workshop and sharing his valuable time and effective speech with the students. From the feedback of the students, we can conclude that the program was very effective and successful which would assist the students to compete with the interview boards and demanding world.
