Workshop on Effective Presentation Skills

The AIUB Business Club (ABC) organized a workshop titled “Effective Presentation Skills” on Tuesday, 13th October, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the AIUB Auditorium. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Quazi M. Ahmed, Lead Consultant and CEO, FutureLeadersä. Mr. Ehsanul Huda Chowdhury, Faculty Advisor of ABC and Director of the Graduate Program FBA, AIUB was also present at the workshop. The objective of the workshop was to improve the basic presentation skills of the students. Mr. Quazi M. Ahmed is a prominent leadership trainer of the country who himself is also a Faculty Member of AIUB. The program was attended by more than 200 enthusiastic students. The 1 hour presentation by Mr. Quazi M. Ahmed was full of Tips & Tricks; Do’s and Don’ts; and interesting real life examples related to the topic. At the end of the workshop, the participants were filled-up with so much knowledge and understanding on the basic areas of common presentation mistakes, how to overcome these mistakes, how to overcome the nervousness and anxiety, and the ways to make the presentation excellent. The program ended with thanks giving speech and a letter of appreciation presented by Mr. Ehsanul Huda Chowdhury the Faculty Advisor of AIUB Business Club (ABC).
