Like every year students of Architecture Department of AIUB organized a ‘Reception Program’ to welcome its Freshers. The program was held on November 30, 2016 at AIUB auditorium. The event was graced by presence of honorable guests Prof. Dr. Tafazzal Hossain [Vice President, Academics and Dean of Faculty of Science & Information Technology], Prof. Dr. A B M Siddique Hossain [Dean, Faculty of Engineering] and M. Arefeen Ibrahim [Head of Architecture Department]. Architecture students of 2nd year organized the cultural program and it was co-ordinated by Faculty Fauzia Rahman Mouri.

All faculty members of the department along with students from current batches participated in the event with full excitement and spirit. Present students embraced the fresher for becoming a part of this wonderful architecture family. During the inaugurating speech, M. Arefeen Ibrahim thanked all the participants and faculty members for their whole-hearted support and cooperation. The grand event ended with greetings to the fresher and light refreshments.

The program was composed with fun and number of entertaining events and gorgeous performances including song, dance, poetry and stage play by the students. Architecture Department expresses its heartfelt gratitude to AIUB authority, the organizers & performers for their relentless collective effort to make the program a successful one.
