On October 8, 2023, the Engineering Students’ Association of Bangladesh (ESAB) AIUB Unit Face hosted a successful webinar titled "Foundations of Competitive Programming: A Beginner's Guide" leveraging the Google Meet platform for its execution. The event, which commenced at BD time 9:30 PM, drew a diverse and engaged audience of programming enthusiasts with more than 90 attendees. This informative session was graced by the presence of the distinguished speaker, Mr. Abdullah Al Mamun, Machine Learning Engineer, Meta (Facebook).

At first, Mr.Mamun's presentation covered the fundamental topics, encompassing problem-solving strategies, data structures, algorithmic thinking, and effective coding techniques. His eloquent and comprehensive delivery of these complex concepts ensured that all participants, irrespective of their proficiency level, could grasp the material with ease. He also discussed the differences between competitive programming and job opportunities, as well as which path to take. Attendees benefited greatly from his practical insights and invaluable advice, setting them on a path to excel in their coding skills. He also shared his journey and job opportunities in high-tech industries. After that, he gave some crucial advice and motivated the students as well. In the end, the interactive question and answer segment enabled participants to seek further guidance and clarity from this accomplished speaker.
