On January 19, 2025, AIUB Community of Engineering Students (ACES) organized a webinar titled “Why Data Analytics is a Booming Career Field and How to Get a Career Entry in It?” with over 137 participants via Microsoft Teams. The session, starting at 7:00 PM, explored the growing demand for data analytics, career opportunities, essential skills, and strategies to enter the field.
The event featured by Mr. Md. Jahidul Islam Razan (Solution Design Analyst, Shell's EV Charging Group, Netherlands, Data Analysts Mentor, Algorizin, USA) as the distinguished speaker. Leveraging his extensive experience in the said field, he explained the rapid growth of data analytics and how businesses rely on data-driven decision-making. He emphasized the increasing demand for data professionals across industries, highlighting the essential skills required to succeed. The session also included practical examples of how data analytics revolutionizes industries such as healthcare, finance, and e-commerce, demonstrating its vast career potential.
An interactive Q&A session was held, where participants had the opportunity to ask about career pathways, industry trends, and skill development. Dr. Md. Saniat Rahman Zishan (Professor, Director, Faculty of Engineering) closed the session with a vote of thanks to the speaker, followed by a virtual token of appreciation. Including a crest and certificate to the esteemed speaker.
