Webinar on “Advanced Techniques in Embedded Systems Development Using Arduino”

On March 23, 2024, Department of Computer Engineering (CoE), AIUB, in collaboration with the Code 19, hosted an engaging webinar titled "Advanced Techniques in Embedded Systems Development Using Arduino" to celebrate Arduino Day 2024. The webinar started at 9 p.m. with more than 40 participants. The main purpose of this webinar was to serve as a platform for enthusiasts, experts, and beginners to come together and explore the world of Arduino technology.

The webinar began with a warm introduction by Mr. Shamsul Arifin (Senior IoT Engineer, Code 19 Limited). Following this, the speaker of the session, Mr. Md Shahnauze Ahsan (Embedded Software Engineer, Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia), initiated the proceedings by providing valuable insights gleaned from his extensive professional experience in the field. He emphasized the importance of possessing a balance of hardware and software skills in the realm of embedded systems development. He elucidated strategies to minimize existing skill gaps, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning, hands-on experience, and collaboration within the Arduino community. Furthermore, Mr. Khan Muhammad Nafiul Akbar (Co-Founder, Agronochain and product development consultant at Code 19 Limited) shared his perspectives on the growing demand for Arduino technology. Subsequently, an exhilarating quiz competition focused on Arduino technology was held, offering participants a chance to assess their understanding and abilities in this field.

Then, a short Q/A session was held for the participants. Mr. Abir Ahmed (Assistant Professor & Special Assistant [EEE], Department of CoE, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB) concluded the webinar by thanking the speakers.
