Visit to Siddhirganj Power Station by the Department of EEE
The visit to Siddhirganj Power Station arranged for the Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) students under the courses Basic Mechanical Engineering (BME) and Power Stations has been successfully completed. Visit to power stations is essential for EEE students since site visit and hands-on training are two integral parts of engineering curriculum. The Department of EEE regularly arranges such study trips to various power stations and in every semester EEE students visit different power plants for learning and improving the knowledge on the power sector.
This time the visit was divided into 4 days from Monday, December 26, 2011 to Thursday, December 29, 2011. The Siddhirganj Power Station is located on the bank of the Shitalakshya river which is very close to Narayanganj.
