Honorable Vice Chancellor Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna of the American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB) paid a kind visit to the new premise of Department of Architecture at Campus 7 (House No: 23, Road No: 17, Kemal Ataturk Avenue, Banani, Dhaka-1213) on Monday, April 27, 2009. She went through the different sections of the department including studios, faculty rooms, office, exhibition and jury space etc. She participated in an ongoing jury session for a while and expressed keen interest on the students’ academic projects and shared her views. Her guidance as well as interaction with the students and teachers was very inspiring for all. Coordinator of the Department Arefeen Ibrahim along with other members of the faculty including Ar. Saiful Haque, Mobinur Rahman, Ashik Vaskor, Sudipta Barua, Tania Sharmin, Anika Nasra Haque, Sariful Islam, Saimum Kabir among others, were present during her visit.
