The Vice Chancellor of Notre Dame University Bangladesh,  Prof. Dr. Fr. Patrick D. Gaffney, CSC visited the AIUB and celebrated Holy Mass in the small chapel of the university. It was a very cordial meeting with a lot of good impressions he expressed about AIUB’s  physical infrastructure and conducive learning environment. The Vice Chancellor, Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna, Vice President, Academics Dr. Charles C. Villanueva and the University Registrar, Mr. Pius Costa were on hand to receive Fr. Patrick. After celebrating the Holy Mass, a simple lunch was offered together with his Executive Secretary, Mr. Jyoti F. Gomes .  Prospects of collaboration and sharing of expertise were discussed during the lunch. As a newly established university, valuable information and sharing of experiences were conveyed to him by the AIUB Team. Fr.Patrick and Mr. Jyoti  were toured around the campus including the computer labs, multipurpose hall and the Library. He expressed admiration to the modern facilities, the digital library and the sprawling campus of the university. There were exchanges of documents published by the NDUB and AIUB. He was also desirous to attend and witness the forthcoming convocation sometime in the 2nd week of February 2019 as  Dr. Lamagna extended a personal invitation to him.
