The VC as the Treasurer of the International Association of University Presidents, attended the Centennial celebrations of Henan University held in Grand Century Hotel in Kaifeng, Henan, China. She presented a paper on “Internationalization of Higher Education: Collaboration” on Sept. 24, 2012. The paper is about cooperation and partnership, about creating conditions that can bring together persons from different backgrounds and affiliations and through them, their departments, institutions, or companies. The conditions that can facilitate new and innovative combinations of disciplinary knowledge and specialists, and that facilitate transfer from universities to the private sector, from the industrialized world to the developing countries were also discussed.
