On Thursday, 27th February 2025, the IEEE AIUB Student Branch successfully organized a seminar titled “Unlocking Potential: Leadership Insights for Shaping Tomorrow”. The seminar aimed to explore leadership principles and self-development strategies to navigate future real world corporate challenges through interactive activities and discussions. The seminar featured hands on group activity, engaging presentation and impactful discussion.
The seminar commenced with Mr. Mohammed Asaf-Ud-Doulah, Engineer I – Professional Services, Pike Engineering introducing the topic of Build & Bond with a hands-on group activity to simulate real life corporate challenges. He highlighted the importance of accountability and its habits. He emphasized avoiding blame culture with scientific reasoning and the importance of humility. He pointed common leadership problems with past leader examples. He encouraged self-leadership development and shared a personal habit that helped in his leadership journey.
The event concluded with Dr. Shameem Ahmad, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Engineering, American International University – Bangladesh; Counselor, IEEE AIUB Student Branch sharing his perception of leadership and presenting a token of appreciation to the distinguished speaker. The seminar successfully motivated attendees with valuable insights to enhance their leadership skills. Additionally, the event aligned with SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), emphasizing the importance of collaboration and knowledge-sharing in fostering effective leadership and sustainable development. The event started at 4:00 PM and ended at 6:00 PM. A total of 40+ members attended the seminar.
