AIUB Society for HR had organized a training program on “Professional Grooming” on November 24, 2011 in Campus 1. The guest speaker was Mr. S. M. Nabeel  Imtiaz  (CEO, Algorithm Consulting & Corporate Trainer). This program was arranged to prepare the students of the final and second last semester for their upcoming entry to the corporate world. The main emphasis of this program was to equip the students with the skills and impart them with confidence to get them adjusted in their professional lives. During the program, Mr. Imtiaz delivered a presentation on “Corporate Culture” in a global perspective. He also talked about some corporate etiquette which would help the students in future at work place. Apart from it, he discussed about some presentation skills, Resume` style and interview tactics which were very informative.  The discussion was followed by a very effective and participative Q&A session. In the end, Mr. Obaidul Islam (Sr) and Ms. Hafsa Maryam of HR Department, Faculty of Business Administration, cordially thanked the guest for sharing his valuable time and speech with the students. From the feedback of the students, we can conclude that it was an effective and informative training program which would assist the students to cope with the challenging corporate world.
