TNT inks MOA with AIUB

The TNT Express, Bangladesh, an international courier based in Netherlands has signed a Memorandum of  Agreement (MOA) with the American International University-Bangladesh(AIUB) as partners to mutually promote the programs of AIUB and the services of TNT. This partnership with the university is the first undertaking of TNT to launch their innovative approach to marketing involving students and employees of an educational institution. Among others, the MOA provides 30% waiver to each employee of TNT who will enroll in the EMBA and MBA programs. It will also provide space and time for promotional campaign of TNT to enhance its brand. On the other hand, TNT will provide special discount to students for sending their applications documents to colleges and universities abroad while applying for higher studies. It will provide 15%  percent to both students and employees of AIUB in delivering authorized shipment abroad. TNT will provide priority for internship and graduates  for Job placement in their company. Extend sponsorship to student programs arranged by AIUB  or by the student clubs. The development and implementation of specific activities within the ambit of this agreement will be negotiated and agreed on upon consultation between the two parties. The MOA was formalized upon the signing of Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna, Vice Chancellor of AIUB and Mr. Rajiv Bhattadharya, Country Manager of TNT Express, Bangladesh. Mr. RT Moudud, Director of Placement and Alumni, AIUB and Mr. Nazmul Ahsan Khan, Manager-Marketing and Strategy, TNT Express both signed the agreement as witnesses. The Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Charles c. Villanueva and Dr. Ehsan Uddin Ahmed, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration were also present to provide support to the implementation of the agreement. As a take off activity within the spirit of the MOA, TNT will conduct a Seminar on Logistics and Supply Chain Management and the TNT Model on Tuesday, 16 September 2014 in the auditorium of the university to be participated in by senior students of Marketing and faculty. The university particularly the Faculty of Business Administration is confident that the shared benefits will be productive and beneficial to both AIUB and TNT Express in the next 5 years.
