On 07^th of November, 2019 Tourism & Hospitality Management major students had a memorable study tour to BRAC CDM, one of the renowned resorts in Rajendrapur, Gazipur. This tour provides students with a fascinating perception into the hospitality industry. It also gave them an opportunity to engage with experienced hospitality professionals and broaden their knowledge on many aspects of hospitality business practices i.e. front office, housekeeping, F&B, laundry and come to appreciate the complexities and challenges of the industry.  This study tour was led and conducted by AIUB faculty member Lecturer Mr. Mahmudul Hasan.

BRAC CDM resort located at Rajendrapur, Gazipur, a complex township integrating with tourism and residence. It’s headquartered is at BRAC Centre, Mohakhali, Dhaka. The BCDM Rajendrapur is surrounded by green land, lake, playground, wetland and perfectly situated within a charming rural community. BCDM Rajendrapur offers experience in accommodation, meetings, dining and wellness sectors.

The support of BCDM, especially from the Operations Manager Mr. Mahbub Ul Alam, Sales Executive Mr. Julker Naim and AIUB authorities, made this tour a successful one. For the students, it was a memorable, inspirational and learning experience indeed.
