The VC of American International University- Bangladesh paid a visit to the new Philippine Ambassador H.E. Alan L. Deniega on October 24, 2021 together with Mr. Eduardo Alcanzare, Mr.  Danilo Morgia, Ms.  Rani Ramos and Mr.  Nelson Uduando

The Ambassador was briefed on how the University was established, coming from humble beginnings back in 1995 to where it is now.  The discussions also included on the business and diplomatic customs in the country. 

The Philippine embassy expressed their support in the university by upgrading the existing archive of the Philippine section of the university’s library. The embassy will also feature Dr. Lamagna’s story and achievements in the Department of Foreign affairs to highlight success stories and ties between the two nations- Bangladesh and the Philippines. His Excellency also said that they would like to strengthen ties with AIUB for the duration of his term.
