The International Conference on Computing Advancements 2020 (ICCA ‘20) at the American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB)

The American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB) held its 3rd annual international conference, organized by the Faculty of Science & Technology, titled the “International Conference on Computing advancements 2020 (ICCA ’20)”. In cooperation with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and Special Interest Group on Applied Computing (SIGAPP), the 3-day conference was inaugurated on the 10th of January 2020, by Prof. Dr. Sazzad Hossain, the honorable member of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC) as the Chief Guest. The program was collaboratively sponsored by Dhaka Bank Ltd., Juniper Networks, B-TRAC Technologies Ltd., GATEWAY Communication & Technology, and Infolink Ltd.

 
On behalf of AIUB, Ms. Nadia Anwar, the Chairman of the Broad of Trustees, along with Dr. Hasanul A. Hasan, Founder Member, Prof. Dr. Tafazzal Hossain, the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. A. B. M. Siddique Hossain, the Dean for the Faculty of Engineering, were present on the occasion. Prof. Dr. H M Zahirul Haque, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Liberal Arts, and Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain, the Vice Chancellor of Northern University Bangladesh, also joined the event. Prof. Dr. Ng Giap Weng, an Associate Professor of the Faculty of Computing and Informatics from the Universiti Malaysia Sabah and Prof. Dr. Md. Saiful Islam, Director of the Institute of Information and Communication Technology (IICT) at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) delivered their keynote speeches focusing on the present states of different aspects of computer science.
