Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna, Vice Chancellor of the American International University-Bangladesh has been selected as “ 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World”. This prestigious award is bestowed on to a Filipina who demonstrates  exemplary leadership, inspiration and achievement. Her selection was chosen among Filipina women in 15 countries of the world.  The 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World Award is a working recognition award, a dream with a meaningful purpose to build the Filipina community’s pipeline of qualified leaders to rise from a ladder of success. The award will be presented during the gala award dinner and grand ceremony to held on October 24-26, 2013 at the Mark Hopkins Intercontinental  Hotel in San Francisco, California, USA. During the awarding ceremonies, the awardees share their inspiring success story to the Filipinos, Americans and other nationalities who are invited to the glittering  occasion. The AIUB Family is again proud to have the beloved Vice Chancellor catapulted to the apex of success which is globally recognized by the “Filipina Women’s Network  Global 100”. The Filipino community in Bangladesh is likewise proud for the international award given to the first Filipina migrated in Bangladesh whose success story will be a valuable recorded Diaspora in modern times.
