The First Orientation Ceremony of
AIUB Community of Engineering Students (ACES)

The 1st orientation of AIUB Community of Engineering Students (ACES) was held on Thursday, 29th May 2014, at room 266 of AIUB campus 2. Attendance was optimum and the program was commenced at around 1pm.  With a vision to be a professional student organization in providing excellent welfare and services ACES started its journey at March 27th 2014.
The members were given a preview of what it means to be a part of the club through the welcome speech by Mr. Chowdhury Akram Hossain (Assistant Professor, Dept. of EEE and Special Assistant, OSA). He also went on to express his close association with the club as a contributing member. The floor was then taken by Mr. Md. Saniat Rahman Zishan(Assistant Professor, Dept. of EEE and Special Assistant, OSA), who walked the members through the missions and visions of ACES and the various workings and future developments of the club. His deep devotion and affection towards the club was strong in his words.
Both the speaker expressed gratitude to Dr. Abdur Rahman (Director, Faculty of Engineering) and Mr. Manzur H. Khan (Director, OSA) for their support & guidance to form ACES.
The program was concluded at around 2:45pm with Mr. Chowdhury Akram Hossain and Mr. Md. Saniat Rahman Zishan declaring the committee members of ACES. Some of the alumni of ACES were present in the event.  
After that ID card and T shirts were distributed amongst the members. Finally, in the ending session refreshments were distributed among the members.
