The Department of Economics organized a seminar titled " LAW OF NATURE: HYDROMORPHOLOGY AND HUMAN ECOLOGY on 1st October 2014 at the auditorium of Campus 1. It was presented by Dr. A.N. Neaz Ahmad, Professor, Department of Economics and Advisor, MPH Program. The seminar was arranged by Ms. Farhana Rafiq and Ms. Sharmin Shabnam, Department of Economics, FASS. The seminar was very informative and helpful for the students to understand the impact of human actions on laws of nature and environment, interaction between laws of nature, climate change and human ecology. The seminar also provides the set of recommendation to combat future consequences on environment, climate change and to protect human ecology. The interactive seminar was attended by the Head of the Department Md. Shawkat Ali along with other faculty members including Dr. Akim Rahman, Ms. Farhana Rafiq, Mr. Rezwanul Hasan Rana, Ms. Sharmin Shabnam, Mr. Rubayyat Hashmi and Ms. Nusrat Jahan. It was also attended by a good number of enthusiastic students of BBA and BSS (Economics). The seminar was made specially interesting by the participation of the faculty members and students in raising critical comments and questions. The seminar ended with a vote of thanks note by Dr. Tazul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
