The AIUB Business Plan Competition (ABPC), Spring 2011 – 2012

The event was held on 26th April 2012 in the AIUB auditorium of Campus – 1.

 The Department of Management & HRM arranged this event once in every semester since ‘Spring – 2011’. The freshmen students are encouraged to take part in this competition. The ABPC does not only test the academic strength but also provide them with learning experience  about real business opportunities in our country. There were 15 teams  participated in the competition . After going thru the process of selection based on their presentation, the Evaluators selected the best three teams. First Runner Up :    Mr. Kazi Imam and his Team
Second Runner up : Mr. Sakib and his Team
Finalist  :   Ms. Sanzana Syed and her Team The Chief Guest of the event was Prof. Dr. Charles C. Vilanueva, Dean of Faculty of Business Administration congratulated the students and faculty for the initiative of exposing the students at their early schooling in the university to this type of challenging activity.  The special guests were Mr. Mohammad Zakaria Masud, Head, Department of Accounting and Ms. Farheen Hassan , Head, Department of HRM & Management. The other distinguished faculty members from the Departments of HRM and Management also graced the occasion with their presence. The overall event was managed & moderated by the faculty members Mr. Md. Mostofa Jaman & Mr. Adnan Hossain.  The Department of Management and HRM is grateful to the officers and students of ‘Introduction to Business , Sec- A2 & A4’ for their enormous support and hard work in organizing the event.
