| The 3rd anniversary of IEEE AIUB student branch was on 12th December, 2009. For celebrating this joyous event, the biggest student branch of IEEE in Bangladesh arranged a 2 days program with multiple colorful events. It included decoration of the AIUB Campus 2, project display fair by the students and a concluding AGM followed by a buffet lunch at the Button Rouge.
The student members under the direction of their counselor, Ms Jumanah Shireen Khan and their elected board members had worked really hard for organizing the programs. On 10th December, there was a project exhibition where 7 groups participated with their projects. Their projects were judged by an honorable group of faculty members from EEE department. The honorable Dean of Engineering was also there.
The concluding ceremony was held on the 12th at the Button Rouge.
Awards were handed out to the best workers of the Branch, the project exhibition winners and the supervisor, Md. Maruf Hossain who received prize for both the Winning Projects.
The program was glorified by the presence of our honorable VC Madam. A short video of the last 6 months activities was presented in front of her. Honorable VC madam gave short speech appreciating the recent work that was done by IEEE AIUB student Branch.
The programs were sponsored by AIUB, Branch counselor and the members of IEEE AIUB student branch.
