The American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) proudly represented Bangladesh at the 24th Red Cross International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Moot Asia-Pacific Regional Rounds, held in Hong Kong from 11th to 14th March 2026. After becoming the champion of the 16th Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition Bangladesh National Rounds held in August 2025, AIUB earned its place by advancing to the prestigious Asia-Pacific Regional Rounds as the only team representing Bangladesh. Under the guidance of Barrister Fahim Faisal Khan Alabi, Faculty, Department of Law (AIUB); Team AIUB, comprising Amanat Ahmed Jihad, Faiyaz Hasan, and Afia Jahan, showed strong dedication, careful preparation, and commendable advocacy throughout the competition. Their participation reflected AIUB’s continued excellence in mooting and legal education and brought honour to both AIUB and Bangladesh on an important regional platform of international humanitarian law.
