It has been over a year. In actuality the world may certainly still be revolving, yet the realities of those in it have been brought to a standstill. Conditioned to race against a competitive world in an unrelenting hustle, we always seemed to have too much to do and too little time. And now all that we took for granted, seem to be taken away. Everyone just wants things to go back to the way they were – normal. But in a rush to get back to ‘normal’, it is important not to lose sight of the things that really matter in our lives. The pandemic may have altered life as we know it, but it certainly brought about changes that leave a mark. The good, the bad, and the ugly. But in one way or another, we’ve all gone through it. Regardless of who we are, where we’re from, or what we do, we’ve all been affected by the same wave of change. And the ‘Stories of Pandemic’ is about that very impact – showcasing the incredible moments and milestones of hope and triumphs, tragic losses and sufferings of loved ones, and remarkable life lessons of perseverance and courage that have left a mark on the young lives across the globe. “Stories of Pandemic” will be sharing these personal experiences of young adults, in hope, that it will show the world that even though we may be miles apart in this turmoil, we are not alone. We may be of different beliefs or speak in different languages, but we’re in this together, and together, we shall overcome.
