The General meeting of the Spring Semester 2018–2019 of the American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB) was held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 in the AIUB Auditorium, AIUB Campus at Kuril. The Honorable Vice Chancellor Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna presided over the meeting. In connection with conducting Spring Semester 2018– 2019, teachers and officials were informed about the academic calendar, teaching procedures and rules and regulation of the University. The Founder, Vice President & Treasurer Dr. Hasanul A. Hasan, gave his valuable speech and necessary directives to the faculty members to co-operate and assist the students in fulfilling their academic desires. He also recognized the efforts of the concerned officials in making the newly built campus of AIUB from dream to reality under his guidance. Mr. Ishtiqaue Abedin, Founder and the Vice President, International Affairs and Public Relations was also present on the occasion. 
Deans from different departments also spoke on this occasion. The meeting emphasizes on running the academic activities in excellent manner and maintaining discipline in campuses during spring semester. 
Registrar, Dean of Different Faculties, Department Heads, Directors from different department and officers were also present on that occasion. The meeting was followed by a ‘Pitha Festival’ organized by the AIUB Management for the Faculties and officials.
