The Solbridge International School of Business under the Woosong University, South Korea  through its Vice President, Administration B.B. Hwang , Jie-Kweon Yoo, Director International Cooperation and Rakesh Lazar, RegionalManager, International Relations visited the AIUB on 2 May 2015 and met with Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Pro Vice Chancellor and Mr. AK Nazmul, Director BBA Program. They briefed each parties on the academic programs of each institution particularly the business program. It was informed that each program is internationally accredited with Solbridge by AACSB ( The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). It has accredited business programs in about 727 universities and colleges in 46 countries while the BBA, MBA and EMBA programs of AIUB were internationally accredited by PAASCU (Philippine Accrediting  Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities) the third oldest accrediting body in the world. Both accrediting bodies are members of the Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN). Discussion on possible partnerships on granting  BBA degrees on a 2 + 2 scheme, 3 + 1 options or 1 +1 for the MBA programs. The exchange of ideas were mutual promoting the interest of both institutions. AIUB’s usual approach, there is a need to a simple formality to bind each institution by forging an MoU to generally spell out the areas and mode of cooperation. The initial discussion was friendly and both parties are looking forward for positive actions.
