Grameenphone IT Limited and American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) entered into an Agreement on November 7, 2012 with the view of fostering academic & professional Co-operation. Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration of American International University-Bangladesh, Prof. Dr Charles C. Villanueva and the Chief People Officer of Grameenphone IT Limited (GPIT), Ms. Syeda Yasmin Rahman spoke on the occasion. After the brief speeches underscoring the significance of the event, Prof. Dr Charles C. Villanueva, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration of American International University-Bangladesh and Ms. Syeda Yasmin Rahman, Chief People Officer of Grameenphone IT Limited (GPIT) signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on behalf of their respective organizations. The MOU highlights various areas of cooperation in the fields of students’ placement, assistance for academic research, mutual sharing of experts for the benefit of the two parties of the MOU. The agreement also covers the granting of certain facilities to employees of GPIT wishing to take up MBA and EMBA in American International University-Bangladesh. The signing ceremony was attended, on behalf of AIUB, by Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna, Vice Chancellor, Dean, Faculty of Business Administration, and Directors of OPA, BBA & MBA programs.
