On 28 June 2026, the American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB) welcomed a delegation from Siam University for an academic visit aimed at strengthening academic collaboration and exploring future partnership opportunities. The visit was held under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna, Member, Board of Trustees.

The visiting delegation included Dr. Pornchai Mongkhonvanit, President, Siam University; Chair, HESD#11, International Association of Universities; and Executive Director, ACD-UN, along with Dr. Eng. Duminda Jayaranjan, Dean of the International College.

Following the campus tour, the delegation had a meeting with Prof. Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna, Member, Board of Trustees, to discuss opportunities for academic collaboration, international engagement, and future initiatives between the two universities. The discussion reflected a shared interest in strengthening institutional ties and exploring meaningful partnerships that will create valuable opportunities for both institutions in the years ahead.
