Grooming students for employment by developing in them the necessary skills has long been the focus at the AIUB. It is with this objective in view that AIUB had the pleasure of inviting Mr. Quazi Shahed of ZUNOKS Consulting to address senior BBA students.

The University's Office of Placement and Alumni organized a program "Road to Leadership" for the internship students of the Faculty of Business Administration. It was held on Thursday, 10 November 2022 in the AIUB Auditorium and served as a prelude to the University's Job Fair 2022 which was held two days later on November 12.

Mr. Quazi Shahed brings with him years of experience in the corporate sector having worked as CEO of Partex and has led the HR teams of BAT and Grameenphone. The speaker recounted, in his presentation, the journey of some of the top executives of the country and the road they had to travel in their professional quest to excel in their respective positions. He cited the examples of the CEOs of BAT, GP and Unilever. His presentation carried tips for the soon to be graduates, highlighting various aspects which contribute towards an individual's success in the corporate environment. The session was well attended, with a few asking questions.

The university looks forward to welcoming more such personalities from the country's corporate sector and briefing the students about different aspects and challenges they are likely to encounter as they endeavor to build their career.
