The Office of Placement & Alumni (OPA), AIUB successfully organized a career session featuring Mr. A. N. M. Khaleqdad Khan, EVP & Head of Merchant Products at bKash Ltd., and a seasoned Product & Technology Leader in Bangladesh’s fintech industry.

During his keynote address, Mr. Khaleqdad Khan introduced students to five major career pathways beyond traditional programming, providing clear insights into each role’s responsibilities and future scope. The highlighted domains included:

The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating in the Q&A segment. They raised thoughtful questions regarding career readiness, industry expectations, and essential skills, and the speaker responded by addressing their concerns and offering practical guidance.

The event witnessed an exceptional turnout, with 300+ senior students of FST filling the Multipurpose Hall. A special moment for the session was the presence of our Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman, whose attendance added significant value to the program. He also shared a few encouraging words with the students, motivating them to prepare for future opportunities with dedication and confidence.

The session concluded with a gesture of appreciation, as the Director of Office of Placement & Alumni (OPA), AIUB, Mr. R. Tareque Moudud, presented a gift to the honorable speaker on behalf of the university.
