The Department of Finance, FBA, AIUB organized a corporate session on July 26, 2016 in order to provide practical exposure to the MBA students of Portfolio Management and Investment Analysis course. Mr. Sadiquzzaman Khan, Head of Treasury, Bank Alfalah Ltd. was invited to share his knowledge and experience on the topic "The use of Fundamental and Technical Analysis in Treasury Operation of a Bank". The class room interaction was facilitated by Mr. M. Taseen Chowdhury, Assistant Professor, Department of Finance, Faculty of Business Administration who helped students to ask questions to relate their understanding of ‘Fundamental and Technical Analysis’ studied in the course with the practice of a treasury operation in a commercial bank in Bangladesh.

The session was concluded by Dr. Nisar Ahmed, Associate Professor and Director, MBA program who also shared some of his insights about financial decision making process and encouraged the students to relate their theoretical understanding of the subjects studied in AIUB with the contemporary practice in the Industry. He presented the letter of appreciation to the guest speaker which was signed by Mr. Mohammad Faridul Alam, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Accounting and Finance and Professor Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Pro Vice Chancellor and Dean, Faculty of Business Administration, AIUB.
